Meet Leo! Leo is an exceptional little boy. Leo is a farm boy who lives up in the mountains with his parents. He is an extraordinary little boy. Looking at Leo, he was a different little boy. He was kind and gentle and cared a lot about his surroundings. Leo was born with no hair. Not having hair never bothered him. Although Leo was young, he had a lot of strength for a little boy. He had big hands and feet; some may say he looked slightly clumsy. Leo was mighty, but he was kind and gentle too. Leo didn't realize how much strength he had! Leo thought that he was just like any other boy.

Leo has always wanted a friend who would share his passion for saving the world. But his parents kept him confined to the mountains for his safety. Then, one day, fate takes an extraordinary turn and brings Leo face-to-face with his passion for helping care for others in the form of a new friend and partner!

This friend and partner is Lucas, a flying horse. Lucas was not an ordinary horse but a clumsy-looking horse. His face looked like a donkey's, and he had tiny wings. The horse's features didn't bother Leo. He thought that Lucas was beautiful no matter what.

I created Leo & Lucas to show how Leo's desire to help people and animals that are in trouble drives him to become a superhero! I also wanted to show children that you can still achieve great things just because you are different. Leo & Lucas are different, but their love and compassion for each other unite them as a mighty team. Children have a special place in my heart, and through my books, I want to teach children to believe in themselves and that they can accomplish anything as long as they desire to do it! Kids Are Precious!

What is a superhero?
​
According to Wikipedia, a superhero is a heroic stock character typically possessing supernatural or superhuman powers dedicated to fighting the evil of their universe, protecting the public, and battling supervillains.
Usually, a superhero has a recognizable costume and sometimes a mask, a code name, and sometimes a potent weapon they use to help them defend themselves. Superheroes may be regular people who lead an ordinary life. They may even be unpopular among their peers, yet in their magical form of superheroes, they become very famous, and everyone looks up to them. These ordinary people become superheroes when their city or other people need help.

Why did I create a fairytale bald superhero?

Considering all of the above is one of the reasons why I created Leo, a children's fairytale bald superhero. Leo & Lucas is a new fairytale bald superhero in children's stories. Although Leo & Lucas differ in many ways, it's a story about caring, friendship, and doing the right thing. This incredible tale speaks to the heart of children in finding love and compassion with friends no matter how different they might be.

The image of such a hero serves as a self-esteem booster for thousands of kids and teenagers. Leo & Lucas help kids who do not feel secure among their peers and grown-ups. At this specific time in life, pretty much every kid goes through this stage of establishing himself or herself as an individual, so many positive images like children's fairytale bald superheroes might be of great assistance.

Leo is bald and very clumsy-looking. He leads a very sheltered life, safe from the outside world. After finding Lucas in the mountains, his whole life changes. His father knew he was ready to unleash the power of The Magic Sword. He gave his son this wooden sword as a child, but he knew one day it would give him extraordinary power. Leo and Lucas are children's fairytale bald superheroes. They help to save the Enchanted Forest from Evil. They accept each other for being different. Together, they can do great things!

There might also be another reason we need Leo and Lucas to emerge as fairytale bald superheroes—to give children a role model they can follow. Young kids need to have role models they connect with, and Leo and Lucas are excellent examples of how it's OK (and even great!) to be different from others. When you give the gift of Leo and Lucas, you give the gift of self-confidence, compassion, and friendship.
