I was honored to be part of a marvelous Alopecia Meet and Greet book reading event! This wonderful event was held by Taylor Cinelli from the Children's Alopecia Project (CAP). She held this meet and greet on March 3, 2018 at Danny's Steakhouse in Red Bank, New Jersey. I was asked by Taylor to read Ella The Enchanted Princess Who Are You? and Leo & Lucas The Magic Sword to this wonderful group of children.
I had the opportunity to sign some posters and books for the children. Watching their faces as I put their names on the posters and books made my writing these books worth while.
I put a raffle together for the children who attended this meet and greet. I raffled off products from my store Baldies Rule
We had a boy and girl raffle offering tee shirts, blankets, necklaces, headbands, sword and shield, Ella's Tea Party Hat, books and many more fun items.
There was something for everyone that attended! The expression on the children's faces when they won was priceless.
This is Markus my biggest fan of Leo & Lucas. He was the winner of the shield and sword. I spent precious time with him and he even gave me some ideas for more Leo & Lucas books! I enjoyed the time I spent with him!
We offered crafts for all the children. There were crowns and wands, shield and swords, coloring pages of Ella and Leo & Lucas, word searches and mazes too. We had glitter and rhinestones! The children had a great time!
Here are Kaylee, Liana and Noelle they are beautiful Princesses. Spending time with these beauties makes me want to write more stories to share.
